Delightful! Every time I look at a sunflower I understand why Van Gogh liked them so much. I also never liked tomatoes until I moved to the UK and then I loved them. Heirloom tomatoes were next level, just amazing!
After 25 years on my mountain, I've resigned myself to vinca, rosemary, and irises as the only plants that will survive the onslaught of ravenous deer.
Thank you for sharing those delightful photos! Really brightened my day! Also living on a mountain side I share your adventures with deer. Can’t tell you how many times I have replaced landscaping and especially flowers trying to find something the local population won’t eat down to the ground. Our deck is now hard to navigate as we have put so many things in planters so the deer won’t consume them. At least my dogwood and cherry trees have grown tall enough so the deer can’t reach the bottom branches. Again, those photos were wonderful!!
Thank you sharing this. Health reasons have curtailed my ability to get out and enjoy the beauty of things growing out there so I often live vicariously through photos others share.
So many beautiful aspects just by observing. Wonderful.

Placed my order for sunflower seeds this morning.
