How we first met was over your LOTR pencils at an ASFA meet & greet during either a WorldCon or D*C art show in the '90s! I was already reading ADS from way back in college, but I had to meet and talk to the person doing those wonderfully drawn pencils. They really stood out in contrast to all the more typical cover paintings in the show.
BTW, "Gimli's Gift" is just flawless. Beautiful painting. Great underdrawing and a very fine portrait using cold press, and that's extremely hard to pull off.
My goodness what an extraordinary collection! Impossible to pick a true favorite but Maeglin and Idril would probably lead the pack. It conveys a lot of emotion and the line work but especially shadowing is simply exquisite. It would be wonderful to have these collected in a small book.
Absolutely gorgeous & (while I admire and enjoy Alan Lee’s LOTR art) I love that your pieces are a little more relatable by having more heart than ephemera in the art.
What a feast for the eyes.
There is so much to love here, but 'The Death of Glorfindel' is EPIC.
That one is my favourite too!

Wow, that is generous. I'm a big fan of Alan Lee, BTW.
Me too, but your art exhibits more human feeling to me than does his.
Nice assemblage!!!
*swoon!!*
Beautiful!!
Thank you!!!

Absolutely gorgeous! The Legolas one in particular gave me starry eyes 🤩 now I want to go watch my copy of the extended edition again…
