That's such a great way to talk about a surfeit! I just had my 65th essay acceptance in the last two and half years. It's a true ghost story due out in February in Paranormal Magazine's international edition. They do lovely art work.
Thanks! I stopped work on a novel (which would have been my 28th book) at the beginning of the pandemic, turned back to where my career began: short stories and memoir essays. The summer of 2021 when I started submitting, I thought, "Wouldn't it be cool to publish a handful by New Year's?" And then I kept writing as I kept getting accepted.
