Sometimes, you need someone to articulate it so that you can process it. I'm a writer--as of unpublished, searching for that first believer, and there are dark days where I don't believe in my work.
But, I continue to write. And as I improve, the dark days lessen.
Making art requires strenuous mental activity. It exercises your mind. Making art uses pathways in your brain not typically used when engaging in other, every day tasks. It’s a wonderful, joyous feeling.
I pity those who think only of making money from whatever their art is. They're choking off the joy and love right at the very beginning of any work of "art."
