This is critical and valuable advice. I have bailed out a few comics creators from bad deals they got into because they used counsel inexperienced in comics industry norms. A deep knowledge of both the industry and relevant case and statutory law is essential and creators need to vet their choice of counsel to make sure the attorney has that knowledge. A last point on the "in print" clause - given digital printing, very little work truly goes "out of print" any more.

In Unix, "print" just means "display as characters on screen [on this workspace on that monitor]".
