I miss Keith too. He could write humor, drama, and action seamlessly. I met him at a convention and he was so nice and friendly. He will be missed but never forgotten

Awww man... Miss Keith's work and am even more saddened that this work of art was cancelled. Thanks for the update and visibility into the industry

Love the fluidity of the page. Also, this pieces remind me of Giffen's style for some time.

That visual should still be used somewhere. She looks like a dynamic figure just in one panel alone!

That bites, the cancellation not the art you shared

I wish I could afford your work, Colleen. I'd love to have you do the art for my Blue Beetle/Daredevil team up story.

One day, the budget will be there....

I love hearing you talk about Keith Giffen. It's clear that your affection for him goes beyond "we worked together" into true friendship and care. As a fan/reader that's really what I want to hear about every collaboration, but is exceedingly rare (as in any job, I suppose). So glad you had that and continue to honor it with posts like these. Also - stunning work. 😍

One of my favorite characters and stunning artwork.

You bring out the carefree joy of the Steve Ditko days. So cool! I love the female character's costume. Such a shame we'll never get to see this brought to fruition!

How cool that you got to work with him - Giffen & Dematteis run on Justice League is a formative one for my comics fandom!

I love that costume! Not only is it original and easy to identify, as a cyclist my favorite jerseys are the ones awarded to the rider with the best time in the mountain stages. So I'm ringing a proverbial cowbell for you Ms Doran, which are used to cheer on riders at the famous Dutch Corner in the Tour d' France.

Btw, I still have my copies of The Omega Men that I bought with lunch money way back in the day. It was worth going hungry since Mr. Giffen work was that inspiring. As are you. ~Cheers
